At Advent Dental, we believe that investing in the latest, state-of-the-art dental technology not only makes us better dentists but also greatly benefits our patients.

Each surgery is equipped with small film intra-oral digital imaging technology, the most modern form of dental x-ray. This not only provides the highest quality dental imaging in the fastest time possible, but also reduces radiation dosage for patients, proven the most effective and safest imaging form available.

Our sister surgery Sharrow has an advanced imaging suite containing revolutionary imaging equipment that acts as an effective diagnostic tool and allows for efficient planning of complex dental treatments. As of our dentists at all sites have access to this technology.

Our highly trained team of clinicians are able to create incredible 3D images using our Sirona Orthophos SL 3D scanning equipment with Panoral, DPT and CBCT capacity.

Panoral

The Sirona Orthophos SL 3D delivers unparalleled image quality with the lowest radiation doses. This advanced technology is able to provide detailed images of a patients complete facial structure including the maxillary and mandibular arches and the supporting structures.

For clinicians in need of DPT images, please send details of your patients via the link below.

After your patient attends, we will load the images securely on to a CD and share with your clinic for just £50.

CBCT

For referring clinicians, CBCT scans are £75 billed directly to the patient on the day of the scan, they will be provided a CD copy of their scan available in multiple formats.

With the Sirona Orthophos SL 3D DPT and CBCT scanning unit our dentists are able to utilise the well-defined imagery to provide a better, more accurate treatment plan for their patients. The 3D CT scan of the jaw provides images that are comparable to medical CTs which can be invaluable when it comes to complex dental issues and planning for procedures and treatments.

We are accepting referrals from other practices for image requests for the following indications:

  • Implant treatment planning
  • Dental trauma
  • Dental anomalies
  • Orthodontic treatment planning
  • Mandibular third molars and impactions
